Performance of high-quality regional shows in Tehran will increase the growth of Iranian theater
Iran Theater- The director of coordination of provincial affairs in the General Directorate of Performing Arts emphasized the policy of the Ministry of Culture in supporting provincial theaters and said that the performance of high-quality regional plays in Tehran will help the growing trend of the country's theater.
A production of Shirazi artists,” Horse of Murderers” written by Reza Ghashtasb and directed by Syed Mohammad-Hadi Hashemzadeh is running at Iranshahr Hall. It began performances on the last days of March.
Hassan Ravandeh watched " Horse of Murderers " on Sunday, April 28 and he expressed his happiness with the audience's reception: "It is very proud for us that high quality works like "Killer Horses" are produced in the provinces, which can be performed everywhere in Iran and even abroad. Ravandeh pointed out the increase of performances by provincial artists in Tehran: "In 2022, with the revival and re-organization of the regional theater festival, conditions were created to respond to one of the legitimate requests of provincial artists, So Great works were produced and it led to the fame of artists and performances in Tehran.”
